What am I doing here?

This is a question I have asked myself on a couple of occasions recently.

I did not tell you, but in the first week of my new job, just prior to Chirstmas, I did something very foolish. Due to a misunderstanding, I went to work on my day off. D’oh! Not a good start in anyone’s book.

Never mind, New Year, fresh start and all that.

Which is all very well…unless you repeat the same mistake in your second week of work. As I said before, New Year is a very arbitrary concept.

Ah well, anything I do from now on MUST be an improvement on this.

Please, Lord?!?

  1. Thats better than not going in when you’re meant to be working surely?! I’ve done that…

New year can be whenever you want it to be. Hope this one is good 😀

  2. Happy New Year.

I hope you get the days off thing figured out. I imagine it could get annoying if it continues that way.

I don’t suppose you can play the ‘just passing through to pick something up’ card can you?

Does it help that you made me laugh?

  3. ah! the go-to-work-on-your-day-off-during-your-fist-week-of-employmen-trying-to-impress-the-masses-ploy… yes, I know it well. How did you fare?
    🙂

just wanted to say *hello* before your avitar fell off the recently updated list… hope you’re doing well 😀
